VERDICT: Hill Street Blues showed plenty of promise when filling fourth place on his racecourse bow in a strong contest at York in June. With the benefit of that experience behind him, Richard Fahey's colt could be hard to stop here. His stable companion Groundsman should not be discounted, although the main threat to the selection may prove to be newcomer Lovat Scout given how well his yard does with juveniles.
