VERDICT: Last-time-out winners Whitcombe Rockstar and Love De Vega are strong contenders and should go well. The latter is especially appealing as he is 2lb well-in under a penalty for his comfortable success at Pontefract. However, Indemnity fluffed the start when he finished fifth behind Whitcombe Rockstar at Kempton earlier this month and, armed with a 6lb pull and with first-time cheekpieces added, Roger Varian's gelding has plenty going for him back on turf.
