VERDICT: Flora Queen (7) showed promise on the flat last year but has taken her game to another level over hurdles this season. She backed up an encouraging hurdling debut (4th) by winning at the second attempt over obstacles before confirming that form/improvement with a game-in-defeat 2nd at Clairefontaine last month and a repeat of that performance ought to see her resume her winning ways. Nuage Bleu (6), however, fits a similar profile and seems best equipped to pose a threat. She has finished 2nd in 2 of her 3 appearances and remains unexposed with scope to improve, so could fight for victory. Pompano (3), stable companion of the selection, arrives in good order and should acquit herself competitively. Top Daay (2) and Kelonia (8) complete the shortlist.
