VERDICT: A judicious purchase out of a claimer earlier this season, Joyau Dairpet (2) met no opposition en route to victory earlier this month and even though new to Mauquenchy, still looks the pick of the field. Corentin Gourgand will still be keeping a watchful eye on Junior Du Vivier (6) who made the frame in 2 of his last 3, and the more widely-drawn Joyeux Des Sources (7) who has done everything right since returning from his winter break. Never far from faulting, Joyau De Rem (1) won twice last month and with Gabi Gelormini reining this time, can get back to doing what he does best.
