VERDICT: In a wide-open affair in which a case can be made for many, just a tentative vote is for Hettie Jack. She pulled clear of the third when finishing an admirable second over 5f at Yarmouth recently and, sporting cheekpieces for the first time, she can go one place better. Nala Star has finished runner-up on all three starts so far and Ollie Sangster's consistent filly should be thereabouts once more, while Desdemona is also noteworthy.
