VERDICT: Marmalade Lady did it well when scoring comfortably over 1m4f at Chepstow on her penultimate start, and she shaped as if she was still in form when finishing fourth over 1m6f at Yarmouth most recently. Nudged up just 1lb for that performance, a bold showing for the gold medal looks likely. Elforleather was denied in the shadows of the post when finishing second over 1m5f at Hamilton last week and is respected off an unchanged mark. Springbecamesummer also catches the eye stepping up in trip on her handicap debut.
