VERDICT: Cheekpieces could help quell Kurimu's tendency to hang and she has only gone up 2lb for her breakthrough success at Doncaster. Even so, she tackles some improving types, not least Gultari, who ran on nicely into third at Redcar and can take another step forward. Queen Maker cost 240,000gns so has to be considered disappointing so far, but an opening mark of 60 is tempting. Throw High Violet, Grecian God and Sergeant Mayer into the mix, while Mullins Beach's Chepstow run is best forgotten.
