VERDICT: Liberated Lad showed surprising speed to win last time out over a mile and a quarter at this level at Nottingham, but he should have no issue stepping back up in trip with two distance wins to his name. He looks to be the form pick, although the Newmarket second Pfingstberg could make him pull out all the stops off just 1lb higher, leaving Virtual Hug as an interesting alternative.
