VERDICT: Hard race to assess with a marginal preference given to Io Domenico (6) judged on his good recent form and physical condition. However, last-start winner Ilario Du Maine (8) and rejuvenated Ideal Western (12) are other candidates for success, along with Iowa De Touchyvon (2) who is ideally positioned at the start with David Bekaert in the sulky.
