VERDICT: A small field could mean a lack of pace, and there is every chance that Joe Fanning will be able to set his own fractions on Union Island, which might suit the son of U S Navy Flag. Showboated is an obvious danger with three placed efforts to his name to date, while newcomer Glowchester is bred to be speedy.
