VERDICT: Sir Garfield got off the mark when winning a Catterick handicap, with the softer going seeming to suit him, and although upped 5lb by the handicapper, he can go well once more. Yorkshire Glory is worth a market watch on his handicap debut after three starts and a gelding operation, but top-weight Borderline Boss is narrowly preferred. An encouraging second over 6f on his comeback at Doncaster, he races off the same mark here and can only improve.
