VERDICT: In a wide-open affair, Seren Y Teigr gets the tentative vote. Evan Williams' charge bumped into a progressive type when finishing second over 2m at Ffos Las when last seen and, nudged up just 1lb, a bold bid for the gold medal looks likely. Last-time-out winner Konigin Isabella also merits consideration, although she was all out to score on that occasion and a 4lb rise demands more. Invictus De Brion doubtless has the ability to play a hand in a race of this nature and may step forward following his recent fourth at Worcester.
