VERDICT: Colonel Lesley found only a subsequent winner too strong over track and trip last month and the son of Lilbourne Lad appears the one to beat. Alan Jones' charge should take some stopping racing off an unchanged mark, with the biggest threat forecast to be posed by Melton Mossy. The five-year-old wasn't disgraced when out of the handicap in a class 3 event over C&D in early July and he isn't taken lightly. Zhang Fei makes most appeal of the remaining rivals.
