VERDICT: Last-time-out Wincanton runner-up Firefly Lane was knocking on the door at this level towards the end of last season and she could be worth persevering with. The Jimmy Frost-trained mare looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open her account in this sphere, at the main expense of Belgarum. The six-year-old shaped better than the beaten distance suggests when finishing in fourth over C&D in late June and is unlikely to be far away come the finish, while Limerick Leader warrants a market check on his stable bow.
