VERDICT: Narrowly denied on each of his last two starts, Metaverse deserves a change in luck and, as long as he can overcome his keen-going ways, this looks like as good an opportunity as any to break his duck on turf. Lir Speciale hasn't quite clicked since joining the Stuart Williams stable, but he is now 3lb below his last winning mark and must be a player, along with Outrun The Storm, who has a solid record at this track.
