VERDICT: In a trappy-looking finale, the tentative vote goes to Lightening Company. Ben Haslam's charge hasn't cut much ice in a handful of starts over flights to date, but he retains plenty of potential to do better in this sphere if judged by his Flat rating and gets the vote to score over timber for the first time. The largely consistent Culligran may emerge as the main danger to the selection upped 1lb for a solid placed effort over 2m at Worcester recently, while No Mean Feat is also considered, though inconsistency continues to be the main concern.
