VERDICT: Royal Dream emerged with a fair amount of credit when third at Leicester last month in a contest where it paid to be ridden handy. That was his best run on turf to date and Ed Dunlop's gelding, who has won his last two starts on the all-weather, may have more to offer on this surface. Amancio, a winner at Haydock in April, would be an obvious threat if settling better in the early stages. He and Big Bear Hug are both respected.
