VERDICT: Germanic left a mediocre debut effort behind him when beating a previous winner by 11 lengths over 7f at Newcastle last month, and the son of Saxon Warrior should be very tough to stop with a reproduction of that. Fellow last-time-out winner Bobby Bennu also created a favourable impression at Chester and he can give the selection most to think about. Ten Pounds is also noteworthy.
