VERDICT: Coltor had a spin over hurdles last month for new trainer David Pipe and that should have blown any cobwebs away. He finished finished third in this contest last year and is expected to go close off a 3lb lower mark on his second start after wind surgery. Weddell Sea was no match for the winner when second over a marathon 2m2f at Pontefract, but had both Yorkindness and Animato well behind on that occasion, while Believitanducan was narrowly beaten in a lower grade at Thirsk and is upped in trip with a shout.
