VERDICT: There was plenty of encouragement to be taken from Lindwall's stable bow when a staying-on third over 1m5f at Hamilton last month. This stiffer test of stamina is sure to suit and the six-year-old could make the most of a 1lb drop in the ratings. Cuban Cigar was not disgraced when fourth in that Hamilton contest a fortnight ago and any cut in the ground will aid his chance, while Marbuzet also makes some appeal.
