VERDICT: Dark Winter has run well in feature events and should have a big say dropping in class. She is, however, also dropping to the minimum distance but a set of blinkers could see her quicken up early. Discerning has sprinted well and may step up on her last effort. She is returning from a break and may just need it. Watch out for Ayuwi Yuwi who wasn't far off in her first start. Lady Eli Mo showed good pace to finish second behind a runaway winner and must be respected.
