VERDICT: Rhetorical made the perfect start to his career when winning at Newbury in May and, despite finishing second under a penalty at Newmarket last month, there was clear progression. A step up in trip will likely suit William Haggas' colt, who holds an entry in the Great Voltigeur at York. Salisbury scorer Master Builder can give another good account of himself, while Mutaawid might step forward now fitted with first-time blinkers.
