VERDICT: Chatty Chich has proved a different proposition since switching to handicap company and she successfully completed a double at Fakenham last time, but this requires more off 5lb higher. With that in mind, the vote goes to Ascension Day, who finished just under four lengths clear of the third when runner-up over 2m here last month. The step back up in trip looks a good move. The seven-year-old can get his career up and running, while last-time-out winner Mactavish is another to watch out for.
