VERDICT: Better was expected of Rayat at Thirsk last time, but having weakened quickly over the mile that day he is worth a second look now eased in trip. Vince Lombardi was narrowly denied at Ffos Las recently and must be respected. Preference, however, is for Ray Vonn. The four-year-old is now two from two over C&D following May's narrow success and he could extended that record raised just 3lb. Dark Dreamer is also noted.
