VERDICT: The tongue-tie and visor combination appeared to do the trick for Lord Warburton when causing a big surprise at 125/1 on his latest start at Pontefract. However, it remains to be seen whether he can back that performance up off a 5lb higher mark and Walter Hartright could be the one. The son of Saxon Warrior gained a first career success over C&D last month when appreciating the switch to more positive tactics in first-time blinkers. The booking of Silvestre De Sousa, who has a fine record on front runners, further enhances his claims. Ski Jump and Grey Nyle are others to consider.
