VERDICT: Last year's winner Imposing Supreme holds leading claims despite the slight concern that he lacks a recent outing. Trainer Thomas Gibney has his string in rude health at present and the eight-year-old can run off an identical mark to that which he was successful off 12 months ago. With all five successes coming at this time of the year, he may just be one that comes to himself with the sun on his back. Curragh runner-up Blackcastle Storm should again be very competitive for Matthew Smith. The son of Showcasing beat all bar an improving lightly raced three-year-old on that occasion. With jockey bookings suggesting that Rampage is the better fancied of the two McCourt runners, the five-year-old commands respect.
