VERDICT: Makfils returned from four months off to register a first hurdles victory at Punchestown and the placed horses have done their bit for the form since. Peter Fahey's charge is 8lb higher and into a slightly higher grade but may be able to follow up after getting his head in front for the first time since scoring on the Flat in France as a three-year-old. Katakana was also a winner in France where she landed two bumpers and may be capable of improvement on handicap debut after showing more at Ballinrobe last time. Cash The Cheque represents a yard in form and was given a 5lb hike for winning a course and distance maiden in early May.
