ANALYSIS: Close up in 2nd, hit 3 out, pushed along and weakened quickly home turn, pulled up before last
VERDICT: Seven-time course winner Pammi must enter calculations, despite a lacklustre performance on the Flat 15 days ago, while Blended Stealth is entitled to improve for his comeback run (first outing post wind surgery) at Market Rasen last month. The vote, however, goes to Diamond State. He was badly hampered and unseated his rider too early in the piece over C&D last time but caught the eye when a staying-on third over 2m4f here on his previous outing. He is effectively 7lb better off with Alan Doyle claiming 5lb, so a bold bid is forecast.
