VERDICT: Having won five of the eight previous renewals of this race, Richard Hannon is the trainer to follow and can expand on the winning haul with I Maximus. The selection is a half-brother to a couple Listed race winners over 6f, appeals on pedigree and connections obviously mean business by securing Oisin Murphy for the ride. Meeghat is an appealing alternative for Hannon to go to war with, while Spell Master and War Howl represent powerful yards and they are respected first time up.
