VERDICT: Although well held by subsequent Queen Mary winner Leovanni on debut at Nottingham, there should be more to come from Shostakova, who appeals strongly on pedigree and is presented with a decent chance of emulating her half-brother, Group 2-winning sprinter El Caballo, by winning second time out. Havana Dance is feared on the back of two promising starts, but there are some notable debutants to consider, with Handcuffed and Angelica Bay suggested as two appealing contenders who could be more precocious at this stage.
