VERDICT: The twice-raced American Style, who was only a head behind subsequent Chesham Stakes runner-up Pentle Bay in a maiden at Leicester 29 days ago, appeals strongly given how well the form is panning out. That run was a marked improvement from the selection's debut in a warm novice at York and further progress can see him get off the mark here. Cugini and Bella Love are other promising types to consider, while support in the betting for Richard Fahey's newcomer, Ay Gee Ell, would also be noteworthy.
