VERDICT: Denis Hogan's Thecompanysergeant should be good enough to record a first win over fences. Runner-up in a Grade 3 at Thurles in March, the seven-year-old was fourth in a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse on his next start. Although a beaten favourite at Kilbeggan on his return last month, the gelding may just have needed that run. Genois has yet to win from 12 attempts over fences but the Enda Bolger-trained eight-year-old has plenty of valuable experience. Implicit was beaten with over a circuit to run on her chasing debut at Tramore last month. Sent off odds-on for that contest, the Willie Mullins-trained mare clearly didn't give her true running.
