VERDICT: There should be a race on the Flat in Telecon. He has won twice over flights and was fourth in a Grade B handicap hurdle at the Punchestown Festival. His fourth in a maiden at Down Royal last month wasn't devoid of ability. Neptunes Staircase hasn't kicked on from three placed performances between October and April. He is back to a trip that he enjoys, though, and has to be respected. This trip is probably short enough for The Mediator, but he is in the hunt for a cheque. Consistent hurdler Cast A Spell switches to the level and is interesting, while Taymura could perform well on her first start since switching to Ken Condon.
