VERDICT: Leinster was a ready winner over an extended 1m2f at Down Royal and appeals on handicap debut. He holds a Group 2 entry later this month which shows the regard he is held in. Sumptuary Law is going the right way after victories in Dundalk and Leopardstown, and has to be respected up in trip. Sli Na Ghealai found a Group 3 too hot in the Curragh but, prior to that, enjoyed clear-cut victories at Down Royal and Leopardstown. She is another up in trip. Gesture is well versed over a similar trip on the Polytrack at Dundalk, but giving weight away to this field isn't going to be easy. Alabama Calling is another to consider.
