VERDICT: The application of first-time cheekpieces got more out of last month's C&D winner Calvic. He must enter calculations, but a 6lb higher mark leaves him vulnerable and it might be worth taking a chance on Somekindofstar, who arrives on the back of a staying-on third over an extended 2m at Fakenham. The Matt Crawley-trained veteran should relish a return to this distance and a fifth career victory could beckon. Tribesmans Glory makes most appeal of the remainder.
