VERDICT: Boldly may still be a maiden after six starts, but he showed more than enough when beaten half a length into second over 1m6f at Thirsk last week to suggest he might be able to get off the mark on this occasion. That may be at the main expense of comfortable Kempton winner Goblet Of Fire, although course specialist Optician is four from four here so has to enter the equation as well.
