VERDICT: Julie Anais (1) finished an encouraging 5th over 2500m at Argentan recently and should find this shorter trip more to her liking so she gets the nod to open her account at the primary expense of Prince Shalaa (8), who shouldn't be hastily condemned for a disappointing last start in a handicap at Compiegne. Adrien Fouassier-trained Ivory Traou Land (3) fits a similar profile and could also make her presence felt with improvement expected after a comeback outing over an inadequate distance. Aodha (4) isn't underestimated either on her handicap debut.
