VERDICT: Very hard to knock when focused, and twice a winner in 3 starts here, Hermes Du Leard (1) has gone close in his last 3 and deserves to be rewarded with victory. Romain Derieux will nevertheless be keeping a watchful eye on the reinvigorated Helia De Laxa (5) who left a good impression at Pontchateau and who has already won at the venue. With 3 races under his belt and hind shoes off for first time this year, Hippy De La Coudre (2) has the capacity to play an important part. Huriel Ludois (11) needs little introduction and even though shod this time, he is still good enough to challenge for a spot on the podium.
