VERDICT: Signalman wasn't disgraced in finishing fourth on his handicap debut at Sandown when attempting to make all the running and, in a contest that doesn't appear to have much depth on paper, the son of New Approach may be able to take advantage, especially in first-time cheekpieces. Xiomara has shaped well on both efforts in handicap company and is expected to be in the mix, while Savanna King completes the shortlist.
