VERDICT: The Queen's Vase was far too hot for See The Green to handle but the Owen Burrows-trained son of Postponed made good strides prior to that trip to the Royal meeting, making it third-time lucky at Catterick, and can resume that progression. He has yet to encounter ground this quick and if it is a problem, Miss Gitana may be the one to take advantage after hitting the crossbar twice at Beverley. Night Horn and course winner Monsieur Melee command obvious attention, but none of these can be ruled out with any sort of confidence.
