VERDICT: Praetorian may have let favourite-backers down when third at Pontefract, but the performance has been boosted by subsequent displays of the front two, with the winner finishing fourth to Shareholder at Beverley and the runner-up going one better at Carlisle before taking sixth in the Chesham. Archie Watson's colt is a confident selection on that basis, although Twilight Ballet and Billboard Star also made the frame on debut and could be dangerous. Ziggy's Ariel is worth a glance in the market.
