VERDICT: Hurtle loves to hear his hooves rattle and even the official good going at Brighton wasn't quick enough for him last time. He beat Alioski to the runner-up berth at Bath last month and is capable of much better but a safer option is Trojan Truth, who justified favouritism with a determined display at Windsor and is only 2lb higher. Khangai was beaten just half a length into third over 1m2f at Nottingham, although he still needs to prove he stays this far.
