VERDICT: On paper, this looks a 2-horse race, but in reality it's very open. Preference nonetheless goes to Mathieu Mottier's delicate but capable Lanara (3) who, with 4 pads fitted this time, will be expected to show a more professional side and win this. Clearly more dependable, and confirmed under these conditions, Lancelot Venesi (10) looks particularly competitive this time. Loki Du Pont (6) and Lanka (7) finished 1-2 in a 2700m Graignes claimer 2 weeks ago and both look decent place prospects again.
