VERDICT: Better was expected from Jax Edge at Goodwood last time out, but it was over before it started for Christopher Mason's filly as she got worked up in the preliminaries. However, a 2lb ease in the ratings means that she is back on her last winning mark and the daughter of Cable Bay could bounce back. Silent Flame (sixth) is another to come out of that Goodwood contest and Rod Millman's charge is attractively handicapped herself. Aces Wild is another to consider.
