VERDICT: Currumbin travels over from Ireland with a leading chance judged on last month's second at Killarney, where he was beaten only a neck on his handicap debut. He finished well clear of the rest of the field and can go one better in this. Devious Devan was no match for the odds-on favourite when runner-up in a maiden at Nottingham, but improvement is expected now handicapping, while God Bless America is another likely to go well on his handicap bow. Lady Flora may finish closer over this extra distance and makes most appeal of the rest.
