VERDICT: Positive tactics seemed to work a treat for last month's C&D scorer Spring Chorus and a 3lb rise in the ratings looks on the lenient side. The Jessica Macey-trained filly does have faster ground conditions to contend with this time round, but she still rates as the one to beat. Saturday's Redcar third Carlton warrants respect on this quick turnaround, although a drop in trip may count against him and a bigger threat might emerge from the down-in-grade Weigh Anchor.
