VERDICT: Baroque Buoy wasn't winning out of turn at Wolverhampton on Thursday and is open to much more improvement. He needs to prove himself on turf, but is very difficult to get away from given his progressive profile and the quick turnaround suggests he's come out of that race at the Midlands venue in good nick. Course second Battle Of Omdurman sports first-time cheekpieces and should be there to pounce if the selection falters, while Tidal Storm is also noted.
