VERDICT: It looks a very closely-run affair with 2 arch-enemies meeting again, Horsy Dream (7) most recently winning Elitloppet, while the better-positioned Idao De Tillard (4) has not got his nose in front since winning the Prix de Selection last March, although he is markedly better over 2100m here. Izoard Vedaquais (9) is clearly back at the top of his game and, even though drawn wide, nonetheless looks set to continue his performant ways. Defending champion, and barefoot for the occasion, Hokkaido Jiel (5) reassured here 2 weeks ago and while unlikely to double up, he can still pick up a first-3 cheque.
