VERDICT: Charlie Luciano came out best in a three-way photo at Fairyhouse, but the margin of victory was such that a 4lb rise could find him out. El C Wells also prevailed only narrowly on her debut for Paul Mulligan at Navan, whereas Numidia had six lengths to spare over the runner-up when triumphant at Fairyhouse. He clearly relished the half-mile rise to 1m4f that day, and this slightly extra yardage shouldn't inconvenience him at all in his follow-up mission.
