VERDICT: Brindavan faded in the final furlong when attempting to make all at Kempton. He finished a length in front of Cavallo Bay on that occasion, but the latter was green before running into trouble close home and the Godolphin colt looks likely to improve, with first-time cheekpieces helping him to concentrate on the task at hand. Patrol is upped in distance having failed to threaten over 6f so far, while strong support for newcomers Corpus Juris and Mooeeaz should be noted.
